By Bus
Metrobus: 270, 271, 272

The 271 and 272 bus services run between the Princess Royal Hospital and Royal Sussex County Hospital. This service is free to patients carrying an appointment letter for the date of travel. View the timetable online.
By Train
The nearest train station is Haywards Heath and the hospital is 30 to 40-minutes’ walk, some of which is moderately uphill. Taxis are normally available at the station. The station is on the London to Brighton line with frequent trains.
Regular buses run to the hospital from Perrymount Road, which is a two-minute walk from the station. Turn right from the front entrance, follow road round to the right and cross the road to the bus stop.
By Car
The A23 runs from London to the North and Brighton to the South. From the A23 turn-off onto the A272 Bolney Road to Haywards Heath. You can then continue on the B2272 through the town to the hospital or continue on the A272 bypass via Traunstein Way and Rocky Lane, take the first exit at the Birch Hotel roundabout and then first left into the hospital carpark. Pay and display parking is available to patients onsite.
